Mexican Cornbread

1/2 c butter, melted
3/4 c sugar
4 eggs
1 can cream corn
2 oz chopped green chili peppers
1/2 c shredded monterey jack cheese
1/2 c shredded cheddar cheese
1 c flour
1 c yellow corn meal
1/4 tsp salt
4 tsp baking powder

Preheat oven to 300.
LIghtly grease a 9x13 baking dish
In a large bowl, beat together butter and sugar
Beat in the eggs, onw at a time
Blend in cream cornm chiles and cheese
In a seperate bowl, stir together flour, cornmeal, baking powder and salt
Add the flour mixture to the corn mixture; stir until smooth
Pour into pan and bake for 1 hour.
