Maple Sweet Potato Appetizers

1 sweet potato
1 tbsp light cream cheese
2 tbsp maple syrup
1/8 tsp salt
16 crackers
12 pecan halves
16 dried cranberries

Pierce potato with fork; place in a small microwaveable bowl. Microwave on high for 5 minutes or until tender. Mash potato with a fork until smooth.
Add cream cheese, syrup and salt; mix well.
Spoon mixture onto crakers.
Top each with a pecan half and a cranberry.
