1 tbsp oil
2 lb stewing beef
5 med carrots, cut into 1 inch pieces
1 large onion, cut into chunks
6 small potatoes, quatered
3/4 c BBQ sauce
1 tbsp instant coffee
2 c frozen peas
Heat oil in a large non stick skillet.
Add meat in abtches and brown.
Layer carrots, onions and potatoes in bottom of a slow cooker.
Add meat.
Pour 1/2 c BBQ sauce over meat; sprinkle with coffee.
Cover and cook on low for 7-8 hours.
Stir in peas and remaining BBQ sauce and cook for anoth 15 minutes until heated through.
